The Sisodia Rani ka Bagh is about 10 kms from Jaipur and was built for Sawai Jai Singh’s wife, Sisodia Queen who was from Udaipur. The beautiful Garden located on the Jaipur-Agra Road, is laid out in the Mughal style and is a tiered multi-level garden that has water channels, fountains and many painted pavilions.

Sisodia Rani ka Bagh, Jaipur was the perfect place for the queen to enjoy the cool breeze, beautiful landscape and fresh air. I believe the garden was built as a cure to the Queen’s homesickness but some insist the Queen found the gardens to be the best place to escape Court intrigues. One cannot deny the charm and beauty of this magnificent garden regardless of the reason for its construction.

Nearby this garden, there are the natural springs of Galta where the famous temples of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Hanuman are situated.

It is filled with a large number of beautiful flower bearing trees. So, you can enjoy under the shade of the trees and the cool breeze blowing over there. There are number of pavilions inside which you can explore when visiting this place. All this makes it the perfect place to relax and spend some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. While enjoying a romantic moment in the Sisodia Rani ka Bagh, just walk on the soft green grass and smell the sweet smelling flowers that will surely take you to a magical world.

Therefore, Sisodia Rani ka Bagh, Jaipur is considered as one of the largest as well as most planned gardens situated in the southeastern corner of the walled city.
